“We all want local businesses to succeed. Local businesses employ local people, they resell local products, they give back to their community in so many ways, and they ensure the town remains viable – and prosperous. That’s why I enjoy helping local businesses by hand-painting their storefronts on the walls of the Tillsonburg Regional Airport,” explains Stella Jurgen, Art Director of 17 Designs. Stella makes a good point. When visitors recognize familiar storefronts on the walls of the airport, it reminds them to “SHOP LOCAL”, and it helps promote the unique brand that makes Tillsonburg so special. As part of her efforts to beautify the airport, Stella has also donated a portion of her revenue to the Town of Tillsonburg. “It’s a WIN-WIN!”
