17 Designs was pleased to re-design and launch a new WordPress website for the Canadian Harvard Aircraft Association (CHAA) whose mission is to acquire, preserve, restore, maintain, display and demonstrate the distinctly yellow WWII Harvard and other training aircraft associated with the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan and Royal Canadian Air Force. The new website features an Event Calendar, Membership Shopping Cart with Stripe WooCommerce Payments, Flight Tour Booking System, Photo Gallery, Volunteer Information, Dive Recovery Information, Blog, News Media, FAQs and a History of each Harvard owned by the association.
To quote the Mayor of Tillsonburg Deb Gilvesy, “… Having the Harvards as an anchor to our small-town airport isn’t just about honoring that history. It’s about using that powerful legacy to ignite life and interest into the Tillsonburg Regional Airport. These iconic yellow planes capture attention wherever they fly. They draw in aviation enthusiasts, veterans, families, students, and tourists alike. And with that interest comes opportunity… The Harvards make our little local airport a destination – a place where people come not just to fly in or out, but to connect with history.”
It was an honour and a privilege to re-development this website for CHAA. To see more sites developed by 17 Designs please visit our Web Design Portfolio.
