Christine's Fitness is an upscale women's only health club with two locations in downtown Toronto that focuses on weight loss and 30 minute workout routines.  This website is written in PHP, features an introductory video filmed by 17 Designs and allows members to submit on-line testimonials.  It also offers useful information about yoga and pilates, a biography of the owner, current fitness promotions offerings and informative fitness videos.

Based in Guelph, Ontario, Electrowind is a supplier of OEM electrical products including Heat Shrink, Sleeving, Specialty Tubing, Epoxies, Magnet Wire, Lubricants and other electronics manufacturing.  Developed as an original WordPress theme, the Electrowind website accesses a customized MySQL products and suppliers catalogue which administrative staff maintain.  This is Electrowind’s second website developed by 17 Designs.

Toronto Salt is a leading Ontario manufacturer of food-grade salt products, cleaning products, pool salts, water treatment chemicals and commercial grade street salts used as winter ice demelters by Canadian municipalities.  17 Designs developed a customized PHP website to feature over 85 salt products stored in a MySQL database.  The site also includes a Flash banner, drop down menu, informational web pages, W3C coding compliance and modular programming.

Commissioned by Connected Technologies Inc., 17 Designs provided web design and PHP web programming for the new Royal LePage Kingsbury residential website featuring 300 property listings, customized agent web pages, upgraded feature sheets and an email contact system.  Management can communicate with agents via login announcements and post real estate articles for the public.  Properties include hot listings, open houses and text enhancement features not found on MLS.

Written in PHP, each web page employs a fun and child-friendly background. The website contains many useful links to Diabetes-related websites, healthy eating habits and the importance of keeping children active.

Commissioned by Connected Technologies Inc., 17 Designs provided web design and PHP web programming for the new Royal LePage Kingsbury website which offers commercial property listings with features not found in MLS.  Each listing can be displayed with many text enhancements including colour, bold, underline, headings and even emotion icons.  Properties can be flagged as New, HOT and given customized taglines such as "Power of Sale". Kingsbury has secure back-end management of the website.

S.E.N.A.C.A. Seniors Day Program, a charitable organized funded by the United Way, hired 17 Designs to re-design their website according to W3C coding standards.  The new site is fresh, friendly and developed to appeal to caregivers and seniors seeking a safe environment who need companionship.  Written in PHP, this site employs the same technology of our larger web designs on a limited budget.

Requires IE7 or higher.  Using a ground-breaking design and the latest features in PHP web programming, 17 Designs is proud to feature the newly re-vamped Abcon Media website.  During the design phase we decided to forego IE6 support and take advantage of IE7 PNG capability.  This resulted in an innovative look that is highly representative of the alternative media / outdoor advertising company.  A custom back-end was coded giving the client power to add news articles, post images and add / update product information in real-time.

A-Star Tree Experts provides tree care services in Oakville, Mississauga and Burlington.  Their ISA Certified Arborists are among the most sought after in the industry, providing professional guidance in property tree management.  Services include tree removal, tree pruning, tree fertilizing and stump removal.  This, their first website, is W3C compliant, written in PHP, includes Flash banners and has a Free Quote form. Clients include Ford, Regional Municipality of Halton and the City of Burlington.

With offices across Ontario, Link-On Communications provides technical and construction services including broadband video, data, voice and security systems for residential, business and commercial marketplaces.  This website was recently re-designed by 17 Designs to feature new products and services.  It is W3C compliant, written in PHP, uses Flash banners, includes an employee application form and also features photography by 17 Designs.

Waterfront Blues, now in its fifth year of operation, is Toronto's premier outdoor Blues event.  Held in Woodbine Park (in the Beaches area), it features leading Blues performers across North America.  The websites was recently re-designed in HTML, its content is formatted using CSS and is W3C compliant.  It features 5 years of musician bios, a photo gallery and the festival line-up.

The FLEX-I-FILE website was recently re-coded to make use of PHP modularized programming techniques and CSS text/image/stylizing practices. It is now fully W3C compliant and easier to maintain than its previous HTML site. The new FLEX-I-FILE integrates more closely with Mal's e-commerce shopping cart and is visually more appealing. It also employs a MySQL database retrieving the newly added Alpha Precision Abrasive products in real time.

Recently updated to be W3C compliant, this website promotes two Oakville-based CARSTAR franchises specializing in automotive insurance claims, vehicle servicing and emission testing.  The website was written in PHP and utilizes a combination of high-end stock photos and photos taken on-site by 17 Designs.  Recent additions include the ability for clients to post testimonials and photos of their repairs.  Staff are notified by e-mail of new testimonials so that they can be reviewed and accepted before appearing live.

Based out of Brampton, Ontario, W. Ralston hired 17 Designs to develop a website for their Biosak compostable bags.  Newly re-vamped, this website features consumer information as related to each Biosak product.  For grocery stores selling Biosak products, an images section is available that allows for cropped, high resolution images to be downloaded.  Packaging, shipping and shelf storage information is also provided.  All photography, branding and package design was prepared by 17 Designs.

Alpha's new website features abrasive products suitable for such hobbies as model trains, automobiles, boats and planes; military diaramas; role-playing figures and other hobby kit assembling activities.  17 Designs recently programmed a custom forum with e-mail back user verification, an image upload gallery and the ability to post replies.  In addition, an on-line product catalogue retrieving data from a MySQL database and Flash animation banner were added.  Product photography by 17 Designs.  Written in PHP and W3C compliant.

Headquartered in Brampton, Ontario, Con Steel constructs the steel frames of buildings including banks, banquet halls, cinemas, drug stores, industrial buildings, restaurant chains, retail malls and churches.  17 Designs developed their website to be W3C compliant using CSS formatted HTML code.  The website also employes PHP to access a MySQL database of recent construction projects and their warehouse inventory.  Regular expression validation and mandatory field verification was included in their Contact Us form.

Located in Woodbridge, Ontario, Orion Hardware is an importer of fine Italian door handles, door knobs and bath accessories sold to developers of chic hotels and condominiums within North America.  Their website, written mainly in PHP, accesses a MySQL database of over 1,800 products.  Downloadable specifications are provided for each product as well as dimensions and available colours.  The website also uses a top animated Flash menu, a drop down Javascript menu and has a handy metric to imperial conversion calculator.

Based out of Bolton, Ontario, Stage West Express Inc. was recently ranked #2 in Ontario by a Ministry of Transportation audit.  Their trucking and logistics website developed in HTML and formatted using CSS features action photos of trucks, trailers and oversized loads taken by 17 Designs.  The website also includes a highly detailed quotation page as well as an on-line employment application.  To promote search engine recognition, the website includes industry-specific terms such as LTL / FTL / expedited freight, among others.
